My TBR pile is too big. Fortunately, the books aren't wasted as I pass them on to my mum. In Italy she finds it hard to get books in English and is so desparate she'd resort to reading the telephone directory, but even that's in Italian! ;-)Siobhanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02903044612265097419noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23142127.post-1164732814181728152006-11-28T10:53:00.000-06:002006-11-28T10:53:00.000-06:00I can't help myself once I start a book I have to ...I can't help myself once I start a book I have to finish it no matter what! :( I agree with you about the Blaze books being much better lately.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23142127.post-1164729609282409652006-11-28T10:00:00.000-06:002006-11-28T10:00:00.000-06:00I am a rare bird (surprise I know...) LOL And no, what I meant was there was more meat in the story along with the amount of sexuality that I like in a book.

Brandy - yes, they're better. You've read Jo Leigh's Closer ... haven't you? A real story, with real characters and feelings, etc. A lot of the Temptation and Loveswept authors write for Blaze.

Raine - *snort*Bailey Stewarthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00639029254352011915noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23142127.post-1164699113720958202006-11-28T01:31:00.000-06:002006-11-28T01:31:00.000-06:00"Pecky"??!! :-OGawd, I LOVE it!! :-)But seriousl..."Pecky"??!! :-O
Gawd, I LOVE it!! :-)

But seriously, folks, lol...
So, we only got visits from you because you were distracted from your REVIEWING???

...sniff, sob...sniff... :-(Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23142127.post-1164690785549327712006-11-27T23:13:00.000-06:002006-11-27T23:13:00.000-06:00Oooh, I'm going to tell.....well no one actually. ...Oooh, I'm going to tell.....well no one actually. I can say that Michele must have 'things' on her mind.
As for reviews *grimace*, I've written a few for books I didn't like and had the authors read them! I felt so bad about that, that I decided not to write one if I didn't like it, only if I did. I haven't read the Blaze line for a few years, it was like you described, a flimsy plot and sex. Not always a bad thing, but too much of it is. I miss the Temptations and the old Loveswepts, but then again I'm old-fashioned. I let you know here that I saw them.
Feel better?

Wow, action scenes as fillers for sex. I read those. Boring. I just read one and it was a bit disappointing because the previous books in the series were great.
Good thing I ended with a great one. The one I blogged about, Lauren Dane's Thrice United? Oooh, great scenes and some action too. She usually pulls off a good blend.

I hope you have a great visit coming up...you just have to get that pecky work out of the way.

Good luck!!!Michelehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08573730655117969888noreply@blogger.com
