That's the journey of a writer, long and winding. Ups and downs, rejections, joys, acceptance, laughter, tears, community, and yet a sense of loneliness. The road is bumpy, often full of potholes, and yet it's one we gladly follow, for we are writers and writing is a part of our soul. Join me on my journey.

And so it continues .....
Mary Travers, 71, of the folk group Peter, Paul & Mary has passed away after a long battle with leukemia. Who doesn't know the song "Puff the Magic Dragon"? Their harmony can never be reproduced.
And Henry Gibson, known for his poems on the 60s series "Laugh-In", has passed away at the age of 73. He recently had a recurring role on "Boston Legal" as a judge. Mommie always knew she was in for a laugh when he would walk out on the "Laugh-In" stage, a flower in his hands, and announce "A Poem, by Henry Gibson".

They will be missed.
What a sad day this is.
I miss them already. Have had PP&M songs in my head all morning...
PP&M was one of my first favorite groups. And I really enjoyed Henry Gibson's humor!
You didn't mention AGT. They were my two favorites and I do feel happy for him. I'm sure Barbara will be getting quite a few offers.
Both are sort of before my time. However, thanks to my Mother I was introduced to the music of PP&M. As for Henry Gibson, I'm sure I've seen him in several films and always enjoyed his presence on screen. A sad week, this.
