Sighing over Thursday

So, we’ve made it through to Thursday, whoohoo! I did some writing (845 words) on Wednesday, some reading. I’m reading a couple of books right now: Sasha White’s Lush and Loreth Anne White’s Rules of Re-Engagement – I guess it’s a day for white reading. LOL

Jason Evans is having another short fiction contest called “The Endless Hour” over at his blog – I enjoy reading these stories, so even if you don’t want to enter, go over and read the entries anyway. You’ll find some of the finest pieces of short fiction there.

That’s it. It’s Thursday, what did you expect?

Oh, and what are you reading?

I'm re-reading Jill Shalvis' Seeing Red, then am going to read Spirited Away by a new author, Cindy Miles. If you read Lucy Monroe, her new book Satisfaction Guaranteed was HOT. The tied up scene (whew!)!
Anyway, I'm ecstatic you wrote! WTG!

Woohoo on the writing.
I'm just finished Best Man's Conquest by Michelle Celmer and am now going to start Summer Lovin' an anthology with Laura Marie Altom, Marin Thomas and Ann Roth.
I didn't like the furniture setup so I this time I got my son to work on the mostly heavy stuff (this getting up at 6:30 sucks) I finally decided that there was too much furniture in here so now one chair is outside. I've been wanting to get rid of it anyway. I've still got a couch, a loveseat, lazyboy, a chair and two computer chairs and if I still need extra seating I still have 4 dining room chairs. So I have seating for 13[15 if we squeezed 4 on the couch and 3 on the loveseat] (like I know that many people)

Hi Bailey,

I'm going to enter as soon as inspiration strikes. I've been passing the inspirational picture around the office and asking people what it makes them think about. One lady actually came up with a whole story. Pretty funny.

I'm getting anxious for the draft...

I was reading one book but find I can't finish it. Too hokey. I'm disappointed because the book came highly rated. I switched over to the fifth Dresden files book.

I'm still reading Captain Corelli's Mandolin by Louis de Bernieres. It's a hard, literary read, but it's beautiful.
