My World has fallen apart

I don’t know what to say. Some of you have been aware of my situation with the house, others won’t know what I’m talking about, but I’m too devastated to go into it. My brother informed me tonight that I have until the end of February or March to vacate the premises. I don’t have a full-time job, so no means of support. I have to get rid of one of the cats. I don’t know what I’m going to do. I don’t feel like blogging right now, so will be gone for a few days. I hope you understand.

Huge hugs. I'm praying that this is one of those seemingly untenable times when God opens a window.

Yikes, Bailey! I'm so sorry. Take all the time you need. We'll be here when you get back. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers.

I could just smack your brother! My prayers are with you. If there were any way I could, you know I would give one of your fur-babies a home.
Thoughts, hugs and prayers for you.

{{{Bailey}}} We are here for you. I'll say a prayer for you.

OH NO!
Bailey!

HUGS... yes..take your time...and I second Marty's comment.
All we, who are so far away, can do is to pray.
Rest assured, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

This SO not fair ...

I'm gutted for you, and the kitties. I hope this very dark cloud will have some sort of a silver lining for you. Sending virtual hugs.

Oh, sweetie, I'm so sorry. *hugs* and prayers headed your way. And I'm with Brandy. Your brother needs a HUGE smack upside the head.

We love you. Our prayers are with you. Can a friend foster one of your kitties until you can get back on your feet?

Your brother's setting up some nasty karma for himself. I'm sorry you're caught up in it, though.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.

PS And get yourself a lawyer to negotiate. You can find one pro-bono. There is no reason why you should just do what your brother says, after all you've done for the family and all you've been through, without a fight. No matter how overwhelmed you feel right now, do not allow him to make you a victim.

I'd like to give your brother a swift kick in the a$$! You're in my thoughts and prayers. You take all the time you need. We will all be here for you. Sending big bear hugs.

Hugs, Bailey. Have faith in the universe to provide. One door, one window, all that. I know it's an annoying saying, but it's true, too.

*Hugs*

Oh honey, I am so sorry.
Can't say a damn thing that'll help, but sending all the prayers and {{{hugs}}} I can.

Love ya.

I always forget about your blog. But, after seeing you Sat., I thought I would check it. Wow! Girl, I am so sorry, you will continue to be in my prayers. If you decide to speak with an attorney, I have a program where you can call an atty. the 1st two Wed. of the month. Call me and I will get you the #. Sonya

Oh my Dear.
That's too cruel.

Belatedly sending cyber hugs, Bailey. How awful for you.

I agree with Devon, get a lawyer. You shouldn't have to take that crap.

My thoughts are with you.

Diane said...

Yup, I'm with Devon too. You don't say why your brother wants you out, but I'd fight him. You did so much when the rest of your family didn't, and Bebo will back you up, plus you have it all recorded on here and the old blog. Of course, I don't know the laws of Texas, but you'd have a case over here.

Hope you can find a home, foster or otherwise, for the one-too-many cat.

PS I think I'd also prepare an outstanding invoice for your care services over the years and send it to your brother ...

Unknown said...

I agree with Diane; prepare an invoice. We all know how much your brother did. I hope you have the strength to fight this. It's WRONG!

Well you know how I feel!!! I will certianly go beat him up for you!!! Cathy too for that matter because I am SURE she is involved!!!!! greedly little buggers!

I love the idea of an invoice!!! I am sure that over the what 10 years you definitely could invoice them $40K for services rendered!

I am just so very sad that your siblings see fit to treat you that way!!!!

Oh sweetie, I'm so sorry to hear what's going on. *hugs* I'm with the others, call an attorney and see what they say.

I agree about the lawyer. Was everything just left to him? I swear it's people we're related to that hurt us the most - the ones that should care about us! As they say, you get to pick your friends. {{{{hugs}}}}

I'm thinking of you, Bailey and sending you lots of positive energy.

Bailey,

(((HUGS))) I truly, truly hope things work out for you. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Something WILL turn up.

Diane said...

If there was a will and everything was left to your brother, I'd contest the will too. At the very least it could be declared null and void and you should then get equal shares.

Don't get SAD get MAD. Whatever the outcome, that will help you through it a helluva lot more.

First off, go get that legal advice.
