Attack of the "B" Movies

I’ve sat and stared at this page for quite a while now, with X-Men running in the background and thoughts of tonight’s NFL game floating through my head. I don’t really have anything to blog about, except I finally got to see “The Devil Wore Prada” (or is that "The Devil Wears Prada", now I can't remember) and loved it. Anybody else seen it, or am I the last? And then Bebo and I watched “Solar Attack” – a “B” movie that looked right down our alley. Bebo and I love lousy “B” pictures about ghosts or world disasters, but this one ranked amongst the worse of them. What about you? Do you like “B” movies? What’s your guilty pleasure, movie-wise? And what good movie have you seen lately? Talk to me.

I've yet to still see "The Devil Wears Prada" either.
I like B-movies and just watched an awful one on Sci-Fi last night.
As for a great movie I just saw? Howl's Moving Castle. I loved it so much, hubs bought me a copy of it!
Have a nice monday!

I've not seen "Devil" yet either but want to. Must add it to our rental list. My favourite B movie is definitely "Gremlins." Hope your Monday is going well. It's a public holiday here in the UK and hubs is home. Maybe I'll get him to clear out a cupboard. *gg*

My guilty pleasure movie-wise is anything with Christian Bale in it. :-) But for B Movies...hmmm...I'm not sure I'm a big B movie fan. I'd have to see a list to see if I watched/enjoyed any of them.

I liked the Devil Wears Prada, especially Adrian Grenier and Simon Baker.

Simon Baker half-nekkid was a scrumptious picture.

We love disaster movies in our house. Towering Inferno, Posieden Adventure, all the Airport movies. Even the cheesy made-for-TV ones. Hurricanes, tornadoes, tsunamis, earthquakes. Doesn't matter what, we'll be tuned in. *g*

I also love old B movies from 40s & 50s. Billy the Kid vs Dracula and Jesse James Meets Frankenstein's Daughter being two cases in point. ROFL!

Add me to the list of Prada wearing non-seers. I don't now about guilty pleasure. Have to think on that. One thing I've starting watching but it's not a movie is My Name is Earl. My friends have the first season on dvd. Another one would have to be Alias. I never really got into it when it was on tv but watching it on dvd(again they have the 6 seasons) I can get into it.(I think it had to do with having to wait a week in between and I'm not a patient person)
A good movie I've seen lately would have to be Wild Hogs with John Travolta and Tim Allen

I haven't seen "The Devil Wears Prada" either.

"Spaceballs" is one movie I can watch over and over.

Do you remember the Goonies..loved that movies. How about Strays, that was a good one too.

The last movie I saw was Hairspray. I still need to see Bourne Ultimatum.

I love Sci-Fi for showing the weird movies that I just have to laugh because they are so corny.

I loved The Devil Wears Prada.

The last movie I saw was Shooter with Mark Wahlberg. I watched it on the plane back from Scotland because it was free and I had a few hours to kill. Wow, was I pleasantly surprised! I loved it so much I went out and bought it once I got home.

I just saw Devil this month too on TV, enjoyed it :) Didn't like her friends all that much though.

Hmm not sure on the B movie list. The Burbs maybe?

I'm not actually sure what a 'B' movie is, but I haven't seen the one you mentioned. I quite liked 'The Devil Wears Prada'...I saw it in France last October and it seemed quite funny, although I didn't understand every word as it was dubbed into French, so I probably missed a few jokes here and there.
