Just Another Post

So, it’s Saturday, whoop-de-do. I only work until 1:00 and then the rest of the day is mine to waste as I wish. I’m in the middle of a project that I had hoped to finish on Friday, but since I got called in to work, it didn’t get done. I’m also in the middle of reading Kink by Sasha White and Saskia Walker. Loving it. I have 4 more books to read and review (two of them I am quite late on, but it’ll get done). I’m having a hard time reading lately. It’s not the books, it’s me – I get this way sometimes when I’m writing. I’m going to lose writing time (at least quality writing time) on Sunday as Bebo and I will be out packing away Cathie’s house, getting it ready to sell. I’m not sure why I’m doing this since she isn’t talking to me. Maybe it’s a reward because she isn’t talking to me? LOL

What’s going on in your world? What are you reading?

Not a lot going on. Got another request for a partial :o) So I'm reading Sabrina more than anything else. About halfway through Jina Bacarr's THE BLONDE GEISHA which is pretty good.

I just read a great book by a new to me author, Linnea Sinclair. Fantastic book!!! I just posted my review of it.
Saturday is going to be our busy day. Try not to overdo at your sisters on Sunday! (You and Bebo!)

I have been staying up way to late reading this week. On am working on the 6 March Desires. I read Fortune's Vengeful Groom by Charlene Sands and The Tycoon's Hidden Heir by Yvonne Lindsay. Now I am reading Under the Millionaire's Influence by Catherine Mann. Then in no particular order The Prince's Mistress by Day LeClaire, Thirty Day Affair by Maureen Child and The Amalfi Bride by Ann Major.
I think I might be helping my friends move on Sunday. But I might not have to leave my apartment to help them because it looks like I might be watching their dog. Don't overdo it at your sister's. Take lots of margarita(sp?) breaks.

You changed the "about me" picture!! Soooo cute!

Ah, well, I'm not sure why you're doing it either.
But you're a sweetie.

Don't let that writing go for too long!

Today, I'm going to a meet and greet. I have a friend marrying a Texan (everything happened quite suddenly. She's not sure if she's going to put in in a plastic bubble, or have him stand behind a podim while we throw questions at him like the White House Press Corps...and I'm still trying to finish "The Rising Tide." It's great, but I'm not good on budgeting reading time, either :(

Sent out a partial.
Revision.
Reading David Drake's The Tank Lords. Just finished a wad of Laurell K.Hamilton's.

I like your new "about me" photo.

If it wasn't so cold, I would run into the city and get some fabric, so instead I'll stay local and pick up my books at the library. I'm reading Bad Blood by Linda Fairstein.

Take it easy while packing

Hi Bailey,
Jeez, thanks for the wakeup call. I've been doing so much writing, proofing and editing lately I've slacked off on my reading. I've always believed that good writers are readers.
There are some great college basketball games on today, but I think I'll forgo one or two and start a new read.
Thanks again,
Bill

Yeah, I got tired of looking at "Me". I've also been downloading some photos on my MySpace site.

Bill - That's exactly how I feel, which makes this mood I'm in a bit intolerable.

Have a great Saturday y'all.

I'm going to get my eyebrows waxed today and then I'm going to buy myself a new desk!!!!! I see lots of hair pulling in my afternoon. I'm reading Call Girl: Confessions of an Ivy League Lady of Pleasure. It's non-fiction and research for what that's worth.

I've had a big crisis of reading lately myself, so hugs on that.

Not much going on here either. The best thing I've read this week? Frank Beddor's The Looking-Glass Wars. Born in Death by J. D. Robb was good, too. :)

Bad me! I missed your new pic and had to go back to look. I like it. Wouldn't you know I had a nice short Word Verification and now it's hugh, figures.

You and Bebo are just simply wonderful people, that is why you're doing it!

Bailey Stewart said...

Susan - the word verification is Hugh? Wow! He did show up. LOL

I know, I know - bad Bailey. You meant huge. *snicker* I couldn't resist.

I'm reading "Second Honeymoon" by Joanna Trollope. It's good and I'll finish it which is more than I can say about some of the books I've picked up lately. *gg* I should be writing though ...

I'm reading "Fool Moon" by Jim Butcher. I bought the third book last night but I think I'm going to hold off reading it and savor the books more. I've got a book by Keri Arthur who is a new author and writes urban fantasy and then Colleen Gleason's "The Rest Falls Away."

I guess I should do some writing.

Nothing major this weekend. I haven't been reading as much as I used to. I don't know if it's just time or being finicky on what will keep me entertained lately.

Hope you have a good weekend!

Rene - you think so? LOL

You changed the picture again!! Adorable!
Try not to bruise anything tomorrow!!

I get in those moods in which I can't read a lot either. Especially when I'm writing! Good luck on the project.

I wanted to stop by and say thanks for the cyberhugs you left when we lost our dog! I can't tell you how much it meant to me. Hugs!

May I say I loved your Spamarama, as always? As for reading, I just read Suzanne's Diary for Nickolas by James Patterson. I'm hooked on his thrillers, and this was a romance but amazingly good.

My world is simple. Just love a clear crisp lovely day and everyone to be happy. I cant get into reading books at the minute, i like C Cookson and similar books, would love to know a few books of that category to buy, would love to curl up by the fire and get so involved i cant put it down, not happened that for ages x

I've started WIZARD FOR HIRE, Jim Butcher, the collection of Dresden books you let me borrow and I'm enjoying it. I can see where it would make for a good basis for a TV series. Unfortunately, we don't have cable.

Sorry to hear you're not feeling well. (((((Bailey)))))
