That's the journey of a writer, long and winding. Ups and downs, rejections, joys, acceptance, laughter, tears, community, and yet a sense of loneliness. The road is bumpy, often full of potholes, and yet it's one we gladly follow, for we are writers and writing is a part of our soul. Join me on my journey.

Pretty Boy
For some reason blogger wouldn't allow me to download this picture in the post below, so I'm going to give him his own post. This is my Aidan, such a sweet and gentle boy. He's part Maine Coon cat - full of spunk and mischief, and an affectionate baby. Everyone (well, except for those who hate cats) who meets him loves him.
Wednesday morning edit: Don't forget to go to the next post and wish someone a Happy Birthday, and see an excerpt from Operation Eden.
Message from Jason Evans: I've opened a new contest over at The Clarity of Night called the "Silent Grey" Short Fiction Contest. The last one was a huge success. I hope this one is too.
Even if you don't participate, go over and read the entries - you'll see some of the best writing, I guarantee it.

Oooh, I just want to pet him! He's such a handsome boy!
Bailey, he's a beauty! :-)
What a lovely, lovely cat. He's just gorgeous!
I'm just catching up here ... I love the new look blog, very neat and clean looking.
Oh, and well done you on getting that laptop. Don't worry about the money; it's an investment. At least, that's what I told myself when I bought mine. In any case, it's far nicer to play Spider Solitaire sitting in a nice, comfy chair. :o)
Adorable pic.
What a pretty cat.
Bailey, Aidan is gorgeous! I love the Satellite Twin’s opening for your Chapter One, very amusing.
Happy Birthday Lis!
Thanks for the mention, Bailey! Much appreciated. :)
Aidan is such a QT! Sure looks like he knows how to get comfy!
Maine Coons are loveable cats. Aidan is beautiful. We call our Baby a big ol' lug - he can never understand what the other cats are always getting so excited about lol.
hey I posted earlier, perhaps I got the verification wrong.let's see if I can remember what I wrote...
I love Aidan's pose, you can tell he's thinking of something mischievous to do.
He's a beauty :)
Dru - always. :)
Jeanne - oh no, Aidan is a smart baby. The closest I have to clueless would be Baileyboo, but then he's only a little over a year. I'm hoping he'll grow out of it ...
Been busy folks, I'm taking my half-hour blogging/internet break. I could stay here and talk to all of you, or I can visit your blogs. You pick.
Happy Birthday LIS!
And I might have to reconsider getting a cat...he's adorable :)
