Thank you for the comments, emails, e-cards and snail mail cards - your support has been overwhelming and much appreciated.
I'm doing okay so far, but then I haven't really been alone yet - that starts tomorrow. Right now Glenice (everyone wave hey to Glenice) is painting my mother's room, cauking the bathtub, switching my cable lines (long story there) and being my sounding board (along with Jill - I've been a ranter). She leaves tomorrow morning EARLY (say thank you Bebo) and my brother is supposed to leave today - so it will be just me. I have the week off and after getting things straightened up tomorrow (I'm moving into mom's room), I'm spending the rest of the week sleeping and catching up on my TBR pile.
BTW - I was in the middle of reading a couple of great books when this happened - The Heart of a Mercenary by Loreth Anne White and Deadly Mistakes by Denise Belinda McDonald - and if I can recommend something that I haven't finished yet, I'd recommend both of these. I was really enjoying them and hope to get back to them soon.
I'm thinking there will be spam this Friday, with Monday being the first official relaunch of the blog. I'm not sure about work schedules or stuff, so will probably be sporadic at the blogs, we'll see.
Again, Thank You everyone.

just remember - Ames and I are ready for that movie whenever you are!
Take care of yourself, Eve. I've been thinking about you.
Glad to see you back. Enjoy putting your feet up for a while!!!
It takes time so give yourself lots of pampering.

Welcome back for whenever you feel like it :) So does that mean you'll be able to stay in your home? I sure hope so :) Take care.
I was so worried about you. I am glad to hear that you have been busy with friends and family. I'm thinking of you. Thanks for letting us know how you are doing!
Waving to Glenice :)
Been thinking of you.
Good to see you in good spirits Bailey. I hope its not too early to mention the big game tonight, but I'm really on the edge of my seat. Chat at you later.
Uber-Dennie - I'll have to see how the work schedule goes, plus, you'll have to come here, I don't have the gas money. $ is real tight right now.
Thanks Melissa.
FBA - I'm going to finish putting my new bedroom together tomorrow and run to the store for groceries, and then the rest of the week will be sleeping and reading.
Um Jeanne - nope, just a year and it's a real sore spot.
Brandy - just a busy weekend. Got rid of family yesterday and then Glenice leaves in the morning. Then I'll be alone - and will probably start my own grieving then - too busy being strong for everyone else.
Thanks Marty.
Scott - I'm taping it, so probably won't be able to watch it until tomorrow - unless they lose, at which time I won't watch it at all.
Take care, Bailey and take it easy. You deserve the time to grieve, and rest, doing the things that bring you comfort.

A big "Welcome Back" hug. Being alone after these many years of caring for someone will be quite a different stage for you. Don't rush anything, even for yourself, never mind us. We'll still be here. Just take as much time as you possibly can to do everything in its own time. You've been rushing about enough these last few months and your spirit, heart and body need to heal.
We're still supporting you in our hearts, our thoughts and our prayers.
Big hugs to Bebo and Glenice as well for being there for you. Also all the friend and relatives who were supports for you. Is there a way of seeing what you wrote for the paper about your mom?
But take it easy in everything. Rushing into anything new is not the best thing. So I hope you can stay in the house at least for the next year or so. And who knows what will have happened by that time. You may have written a bestseller or won the lottery or... Who knows? I didn't think I'd be able to go to my nephew's wedding in Mexico (everybody's going from Nov. 2-9). This morning my brother, the groom's stepdad asked me if I'd still like to go. And I said yes. So at least all the siblings will be there again. My brother from here is coming and that's what gave the other one the idea. My sister and brother-in-law are coming too. We all tried to get last minute deals. My brother and I had to settle for rooms is one of the other hotels in the Playa del Carmen Riu complex. But that's okay.
I really wish you could get away too. It would definitely do you good. Otherwise I'd have rather had the money for a new computer but I'll be getting two older ones with which I hope to get one that works half decently. This one is definitely having too many problems.
I'm praying that God will lead you on the right road.
Hugs
Actually, isn't it nice? It's my brother's birthday today (he's 57) and he gives me a present like a trip to Mexico. How's that? Maybe you'll have a nice surprise like that as well one of these days. I never expected this. I certainly hope and pray that you do.
Love and hugs, Bailey.
Good to see you back on line! You take it easy now.
Just dropping by to send more hugs. Good to see you back. You take care of yourself and make sure you pamper yourself.
It's good that you are relaxing. So many people try and stey busy to avoid the greiving proccess only to break down later.
Good to see you back, Eve. Did you catch the football game last night?
It's good to see you back! I know you're still going through a hard time, but remember we're here for you. (((HUGS)))
You can skip watching the game. :(
Glad you're back, Bailey. We've missed you. Take good care of yourself, friend.
I'm glad to see you back, too. I feel bad that you won't be able to continuing living in your home. That's so unfair! Take care of yourself. Big Hugs!
Hey Glenice, it was good to see you again. Thanks for being such a good friend to our friend Bailey.
Bailey, now is your time for grieving and for finally having time for yourself to pursue your dreams. We're all here for you, those near and far. When you are ready to get out to interact with the world, we'll be here to keep you company. And those muses of yours... We'll be reading (and buying) your books soon.
oxoxo
Nice to see you back online. Take care of you! :o) *hugs*
Hope you had a good sleep. I'm sorry the Cowboys lost. Just saw it at a news site.
I was told you can't really catch up on lost sleep but then how come I sometimes sleep for more than 12 hours. So sleep as much as you need to.
Thinking, hugging and praying.
Great to see you posted!! Hugs.
Good to hear from you--I'll be checking in on you here. Remember that you're not really alone--we're all out here thinking of you!
Glad to see you back, Bailey. (Hello to Glenice, and thank you to Bebo.) Bailey, you're in our thoughts, and remember we love you. Take care of yourself and let me know if I can do anything for you.
It's lovely to have you back. Enjoy the TBR pile and put your feet up! Also it's important to let yourself grieve. It's part of the healing process. Take care, dear friend. (((Hugs)))
Been thinking about you and praying for you-lots of love is being sent your way.
I hope you're getting some of those books read and that you can "lose yourself" a little in them.
Hoping also for refreshing and replenishing sleep, something I'm sure you need especially.
Now don't let the cats run you ragged. They should know by now that you can't be there for them every minute. But how good it must feel to have some warm little bodies close to you. The pets might be some the most useful part of your life right now.
Hugs, thoughts and prayers and best wishes.
Good morning. I hope you had a good rest and that the cats didn't disturb you too much.
Have a good day too just taking things as they come.
I'm with you in my thoughts and prayers.
Hugs, Sigrun
Just chacking in to tell you we're thinking of you here.
