Sheesh

All together now. “Bailey!” No, you’re not together. Try a little harder. Quit slacking Susan. Brandy, leave that cat alone and pay attention. Once again. “Bailey!” Loreth, this isn’t a marathon, slow down. Pacing. Toni, quit shivering. Michele! This is serious. Now, again. “Bailey!” Duchess, nobody’s paying any attention to your hair. Honest. You look fine. Tori, you’re not paying attention. Kate, close that door, you’re letting the wind in. Marty dear, we're over here - yes, quit procrastinating. Okay, are we ready to try again? “Bailey! Why did you move that huge entertainment center literally from one end of the house to the other – by yourself?” Um, because I got tired of waiting for someone to help me? I know, I know – I shouldn’t have done that, plus moving TV’s, etc. and my back is killing me. As in “it hurts to sit up”. So I’m slumped in my chair, thinking about being slumped in my bed. Better yet, thinking about lying down in my bed with the heating pad. Oh wait, a hot shower, with the water beating down on my back, then the bed with the heating pad. I’ve taken some Aleve, so we’ll see. I’ll explain later why I did all of this, when I can sit up a little more. I didn’t realize how much it hurt until I stopped for a while. Later folks. And practice on your synchronized chastising a bit, will you?

Not a good idea, sweetie.

I understand becoming impatient with waiting for help, IF you can get it at all--but there are limits. Don't hurt yourself, ok?

Good grief, left alone to your own devices and you get impatient and move heavy furniture. NOT GOOD!
Take it easy and don't fall asleep on the heating pad! Hope your back feels better soon.

Yikes! Hope laying down with the heating pad will help. I've done that too (though it was a dresser and my bed), hope the pain fades quickly

You're one crazy lady BAILEY!!!!

Loreth ... off to practice pacing and synchronized ...what?? scratches head ...

Okay, I got it. You moved the entertainment center 'cause you couldn't move the wall??

Why is it that there doesn't seem to be pain when you are acually doing the moving? The pain doesn't start until after you've sat down and relaxed.
Hope the back is feeling better soon.
That's the one thing that is not getting moved. My entertainment center. Even total empty I can'y budge it.

LOL, Loreth! If she could've moved the wall, I bet she would have! Our Bailey is determined!

I won't chastize you at all, though, Bailey. Sometimes you do what you got to do. But sometimes, you *do* have to ask for help.

I've often moved things by myself that I shouldn't have. When my oldest was born, I moved practically everything myself from our San Francisco apartment, and that includes heavy furniture. Moving is not something that people like to help with, not even your friends.

Congrats on getting sitemeter. Careful, it's addictive.

I thought once Dallas lost I would not pay attention to football, but I have to admit that I am enjoying it quite a bit. I was bummed about New Orleans' loss, but happy all the same for the first two black coaches to go to the Superbowl. And Payton Manning sure had a monkey on his back, but is finally going to the big one.

Oh, and if you do manage to get a moving partner, there is a nice strap you can buy at Sears or elsewhere that you wear like a harness, putting all the lifting in your legs where it should be. You can handle very heavy things and enjoy great stability. Even my wife can move things with me.

Hey, don't knock me for slacking! My back is killing me. ;)

Now listen here missy - knock it off with impatience before you can't write for awhile! I'd much rather you tear 'The Wall' down instead.

On the serious side, I really hope you're feel better soon. ((Hugs))

Oh, sweetie. Gentle *hugs* Don't do that anymore, okay?

Limits are actually a good thing for the creative persona. Honest. It's in the book I'm reading by Twyla Tharp. Very cool.

And I've warmed up a bit!!

Hey--you know I've recommended her before but Margie Lawson runs awesome workshops on defeating self-defeating behaviour. The Wall becomes scaleable.

Oh dear! You poor sweetie! Hope you haven't done too much damage and are feeling better. Let this be a lesson to you (says she in her best teacher voice) and don't do it again!

Back pain is miserable (but it hasn't hurt your sense of humor :) - hope it's better soon, Bailey.

Oh your poor back. Well, at least you can sit back and watch all the highlights of Bill Parcell's career. I can't blame him for retiring, one season with T.O. could finish anyone off.

I hear ya on the reason, though...if you want it done right, you can't wait for volunteers. And actually, ice would be better for your back right now, chases the blood away. Alternate with the heat. Take it easy, girlfriend!
