Uncle Bill

To go with the post below. I always called him Unka Bo because I couldn't pronounce "L's" when I was little. If I had been born a boy, my parents were going to name me William after him.

Newspaper publicity for The Great Raid.

This is their wedding picture.

The funeral will be Wednesday morning.

He looks like a real character. I know you loved him very much and know that you have to be feeling a bit alone right now. But, you're not alone. You have friends (all of us)and family (Bebo) and pain in the fanny family (your sister). I'm Praying for you.

Lovely pictures, but what a sad way to start the new year.

Love and hugs for the new year, by the way.

I'm going to nick those writing tips - I've seen them on someone else's site too ... Melissa's ...?

One of the hardest parts, the funeral, is over now. Now comes the rest of life for your aunt, for you and the rest of the family. We're here for you when you need us and we're holding you up with hugs, thoughts, love and prayers in this very difficult time.

I just started reading something today which advised the readers to have someone there to talk about things and hold each other up in difficult instances. But like some others here, we're each alone and that does make it more difficult. I'm so glad you at least have Bebo and I'm sure some other friends in the area. May they be there for you in your dark moments. I always turn to God but sometimes everyone needs a human to talk to as well. I'm glad that I can call on my sister and a couple here in London in my darkest moments.

Hugs, good thoughts and prayers.
