Hi Ho, Hi Ho, It's Back to Work I Go

I’m feeling much better now, although my voice gives out easily. I’ll be returning to work Thursday, but only for a half day. I don’t think I’m capable of a full 8 hour shift.

Bebo and I will be going to the North Texas Irish Festival on Sunday. Cece and Dennie will be going to. That’ll be a lot of fun. I love this festival – Bebo and I have been attending for the last 5 or 6 years. I’ll be taking it slowly though, lots of stops and rests.

What are your plans for the weekend?

Hope y'all have a blast. I love going to those!
As for our plans, not much. Have to have dinner at the In-laws on Sunday, command performance. UGH! Take it easy at work tomorrow.

Bailey,

I'm so glad you're feeling better. We'll be at an Irish Dance Competition this weekend so I'll think of you as I watch the wee ones reel and jig!

As I'm suddenly single again, I'm going out on the razz. Not sure where, yet, mind. But definitely to see a rock gig on Sunday.

I'm so happy you are feeling better. Hope you have a great time at the Irish Festival! Saturday I'll be busy helping my Mom and the others on the committee with their Class Reunion. I'm the one who knows how to work the computer and printer. lol Sunday I hope to get a lot of reading in.

Glad you're feeling better. That festival sounds like a lot of fun. Enjoy yourself!

I'm BICHOKING, my mom and sister are coming to visit, I'm cooking a chicken dinner on Sunday and I'll be attending a district meeting for Girl Guides and then typing up the minutes. Wow. I hadn't realized how busy I'm going to be. Better get organized now! ;)

Glad you are feeling better. Take it easy and don't push yourself.

I have my daughter's first baseball game on Saturday then my chapter meeting. Sunday I'm selling cookies at a booth then my daughter has horseback riding.

Thanks to all of you for all the good wishes.

I just found out this morning that as a birthday gift, my most-used e-mail account which went through my brother, has been completely shut down and all my mail dumped. So it's not a good start to my new year. I hope it can only get better.

BTW, what do you think is "eating" the socks of those who don't have cats or other pets? Still the washing machine? I know now what happened to one of my black socks. There was one on the table at the laundry. Since I had only two pairs of black socks and couldn't remember wearing them for a while, I left it there. Well, of course it turned out to be one of mine after all and it was gone when I went back. So now I have three nice black socks. Maybe I should get that "third leg" you've been blogging about from time to time.

Someone else sent me an e-birthday card yesterday. I was resting up for an evening with friends and didn't bother doing much else than getting a few groceries. The problem was that the number I got for my e-card was apparently incorrect. I was going to e-mail back to tell them about it. Now I can't. I have no idea which company it is nor, of course, who the sender was.

Hope you're taking it slowly today, Bailey. I'm not sure whether my friend Janet and I will go to see a movie or not today. We're supposed to be getting snow and freezing rain all day. Right now it's just slushy but as it gets to freezing and below, the roads won't be fun. She has the same medical problems I do so she's very hesitant about fighting icy roads and so am I.

I hope you have an absolutely wonderful day at the Irish Fair.

How cool, an Irish festival? My husband would love to attend one. He's been to Italian festivals, we are both part Ital, and he's Irish too and he'd probably get a kick out of one. :)

Have fun at the festival!

Sunday morning sweetie, which is why I didn't ask you - I knew you went to church. But if you were inclined to skip, you're welcome to come with us.

That festival sounds like fun! I rescheduled my lunch with a friend from last weekend to this, and those are my only big plans. There's lots of basketball on, so I'm sure I'll be watching :)

I'm so glad your are feeling well enough to get out and have some fun.

My daughter who just moved to allentown was to come in some time on sunday evening to be ready for a dentist appointment early monday to get her wisdom teeth out but she has a bad cold and I don't know if she will be well enough. Her insurance runs out the end of this month so we will have to see what we can do.

I actually saw a sock come out the washing machine hose one time so I'm guess some must be stuck in the machine somewhere lol.

Glad you are feeling better! Would love to go to the festival but expecting new furniture to be delivered. Going to a movie, work on taxes, get some writing done...nothing too exciting.
So glad you are feeling better.
