That's the journey of a writer, long and winding. Ups and downs, rejections, joys, acceptance, laughter, tears, community, and yet a sense of loneliness. The road is bumpy, often full of potholes, and yet it's one we gladly follow, for we are writers and writing is a part of our soul. Join me on my journey.

Somewhere in Time
Now and Forever By Julia Templeton
Private investigator Alexandria Drake goes to haunted Radborne Manor on the trail of a cheating spouse. What she finds is a new client…in the year eighteen hundred and seventeen!
At first, all Alexandria wants is to go home. If she has to solve Radborne's famous double-murder to do it, so be it. Too bad the man she's trying to protect thinks she's a suspect. As if that's not bad enough, the only person who doesn't think she's insane is Christian's dead brother, Devon...whose ghostly image follows her around Radborne Manor, trying to help her uncover the murderer before he kills Christian.
Christian's determined to find his brother's killer and bring him to justice. But his prime suspect is a spirited, green-eyed temptress who he just can't seem to put out of his mind...or kick out of his bed.
Tears of Amun By Jordan Summers
Through the sands of time By the pharaoh's breath When the waters rise to highest depth Then the veils will thin For two worlds to see A fated love that must once again be
He who gazes upon the one wearing the Tears of Amun Shall go on to rule the kingdoms of Egypt
Charlotte Witherspoon is in love…with a picture.
When fate tosses her back in time and she finds herself face to face with the man who holds her heart, will she choose to stay, accepting the promise of passion glowing in his eyes or return to her own time? And what happens when destiny steps in to decide for her?
The answers lie within the Tears of Amun…

Oh and is this when I tell my still cold weather friends that it will be in the 90s here today?
Wow! These sound great! Just like something I like to read. Will have to get my copies.
BTW, love the way your avatar changes clothes daily. So cool!
what a great cover...
went to Six Flags yesterday - it was HOT!!!!!!
Sandy - I change the clothes - which reminds me that I haven't done it today.
Dennie - we broke a record yesterday.
I think you are trying to bankrupt me with all the terrific books you suggest! LOL
Today our high is suppose to be about 50. I can't even remember the last time it hit 90 here. :(
Should I say it will be closer to 100?
Susan - but that's the idea. It's to make you get your priorities in order - you don't need food, you need books LOL
And blogger isn't being very good to me today - I can't get my avatar to change :( I don't want to be stuck in a bunny shirt!
Not cold here. In the 20's. That's plus 20s--not exactly Texas though ;-)
Great looking books. Still on a book diet (sigh).
Toni - yeah, but look at the list your making for future buys ;-)
I'll have to use books as my new diet! LOL
Susan - now you're talking ;-)
The books sound great. I'm a nut for anything to do with Egypt. Will add it to my wish list! Oh, I hear you on the weather front. We're going to hit the 90's today, too. Nice wind, too bad it's a hot one!
It's 91 degrees now with a heat index of close to 100, I'm not impressed.
Now that's just too hot lol. We're in the 60's and it's lovely right now.
Another great book to add to my TBR pile. ;-)
Oh I want 60s!!!!!
Yes I've already pre-ordered it.
Oooh sounds good. Esp. since I'm in a paranormal mood lately.
That's way too hot. Course we're still cool here, it snowed yesterday if you can believe that. Least it didn't stick around
Gotta get it Lis. Jordan is a very good writer.
It's now 95 degrees with a heat index of 101. I'm showing signs of asthma problems. I hate Texas summers :(
(((Hugs))) Eve! Thank you! Julie and I love these stories. We hope everyone will too. :)
You're very welcome Jordan.
Come on folks - you know you want this book. *gg*
Well, they just announced that we are having rolling blackouts because of the heat. We've never had those before. So anyway, I guess I'm closing down the computer for a while. Will be back tonight.
I heard about the rolling blackouts but guess it must have missed me. Wonder how long they will be doing those?
Tomorrow, then the cold front comes in.
Julia - thanks for dropping by. I'd be happy with the 60s too.
