Sayings That Should be on Buttons

1. Well, this day was a total waste of makeup.
2. Who are these kids and why are they calling me Mom?
3. Don't bother me. I'm living happily ever after.
4. Too many freaks, not enough circuses.
5. This isn't an office. It's Hell with fluorescent lighting.
6. I started out with nothing & still have most of it left.
7. Therapy is expensive, poppin' bubble wrap is cheap! You choose.
8. If I throw a stick, will you leave?
9. You! Off my planet!
10. I pretend to work. They pretend to pay me.

Those of you who expressed interest:

Kay Hooper - Blood Dreams, July 2007
Jim Butcher - Dresden Files Book 9, White Night, April 2007

I'm really tired, it's been a long day, so I'm posting this early. Y'all have a good Wednesday and I'll try to get by some of the blogs.

Oh, and the hint? Well, it's been delayed a little bit - still going to happen, but probably not this week. And I'm not saying anything until it does - I don't want to jinx it.

Thanks for the lovely e-card. The falling snow was beautiful and made my spine tingle. I'm glad it didn't turn out so bad for you. Have a good holiday and a great new year.

Rest up!

I love those sayings. We can make them into buttons, you know, on Cafe Press!

Number 7! Actually I loved all of them. This could be a new career for you - until you get published that is!

Get some rest!

Hemmorhoid (sp?) - like my new name for my computer? - is acting up again this morning, so I don't know how much blogging I'm going to get done. I'm about to re-start it for the 3 time and see if that helps. If not ... *gg*

My brother would say,"Now I know why you have such negative thinking."

But they are cute and some are very true. I'd like 6 only turn it around: I've got too much junk and even after trying to get rid of it, I still have most of it left. In fact it's growing.

If you're looking at money in that, yep, that's me.

I want to write you an e-mail--have been trying to do so for ages, but especially after the lovely e-card. But since I'm trying to switch computers, I might not have the moxey to finish the one I've started.

So I'll wish you a very happy new year in which things will go so much better for you than the last ones. I'm feeling somewhat optimistic myself just from the fact that I'm moving out of this "hole". Well it's even with the ground but it feels like a hole. But more in the e-mail--whenever I can get around to it. That doesn't mean I won't be here but just that there are some additional things in the e-mail(s?).

I was going to check this and didn't. I see that 'moxey' should be *moxie*. Where is my brain?

I've never had hemorrhoids myself so I'm not exactly sure how they are defined. But I'd say it's not a bad word for disagreeable computers. I second the motion.

The spelling really *is* weird isn't it? I wonder how many spelling bees have used it. Believe me, I didn't know how to spell it. I guess I've never had occasion (another of my bad spelling words) to use it myself.

July 2oo7 is closer than December 2007 ... I always try to look for the bright side.
