Entertain Me

I’m a little better. I managed to get the flowmeter up to 150 on Saturday, previously it was only going to about 100. For those of you unfamiliar with asthma, a flowmeter measures the amount of air that you’re moving – it should be in the 200s. My energy level is a little better too. Not great, but better. I haven’t been reading because I’ve not been able to keep my eyes open long enough. I’m hoping to spend Sunday reading.

I’m taking one of Michele’s suggestions on yesterday’s post – I’m going to let you entertain me. I have several movies that, while not necessarily my favorites, are movies that I can play over and over again – like background noise. I know when to stop what I’m doing to catch a favorite scene, for example. Here is my list of 5 movies that I can do this with, in no certain order:

Lord of the Rings: Return of the King
The Mummy
While You Were Sleeping
Independence Day

So, what about you? Give me your list.

Glad to hear the flowmeter is higher than it was, but am seriously hoping (and praying ) it gets back up where it should be.
Now, as for movies: My Big Fat Greek Wedding, 16 Candles, While You Were Sleeping, The 5th Element, and (if DVD's of tv series counts) the 1st Season of BONES!

I'm glad you're doing better! My list would include LoTR and the Mummy, too. Plus Kull, Pitch Black, Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, and Jane Eyre. Okay, that's more than 5 but I couldn't resist. :-)

Glad you are blowing higher on the flowmeter. My son had asthma when he was younger(he pretty much grew out of it now) but we had to keep a chart of the readings from the flowmeter to determine which inhalers would be best for him.

As for movies:
The Illusionist(just seen it so it is fresh in my mind. Never really thought of Ed Norton as the sexy, romantic H type)
All three X Men
Van Helsing
A Knights Tale

Yeah for the increased flowmeter readings!!!

Five movies .. Hmmmm

Both Mummies
All Lord of the Rings
Independence Day
Godzilla -not the American version
Hot Shots Part Deux

Technically, I suppose between both Mummys and LOTR, that IS 5, but I consider them just two big fun movies. *grin*

If you ever want to hear a song that is absolutley juvenile, testosterone driven and in extremely poor taste..
trying abusing your ears with
BEER by Psychic Stick.

Oh my gosh, the WORST song ever, so much so that I liked it.
I am so whacked.!!

I can't do it. Period. I either watch a movie or I don't. I can't bear "background noise."

Glad you're better.

My comment from yesterday's post - I too agree with you 100%. I have one person who visits and insists on showing up wearing black - of course she's not an animal lover either lol.

Here's my movie list:

Forever Young
Lady Hawke
First Knight
Never Ending Story
Mad Max and the Thunder Dome
Lord of the Rings
Independence Day
Men in Black
The Mummy

Hope you're feeling better.
