Early to Bed, Early to Rise

The entire household was in bed by 9:15 last night. I know I was asleep by 9:30. Wonderful - looked forward to 8 1/2 hours of sleep. No cat fought, no disturbances at all - I slept straight through to ... 4:15. Yes, you read that right - 4:15. 6 1/2 hours later. Remember, my body is used to no more than 6 hours of interrupted sleep, so I guess 1/2 more was good - and no interruptions! I dozed until 5:55 and then decided to get on up. Oddly enough, I feel refreshed anyway (must have been the uninterrupted part).

I'm planning to get a lot of housework done today. Somewhere in there, Bebo and I are going to watch Pride and Prejudice. I know the movie will get watched, just wondering how much of the cleaning I'll really do - we know what happens when I "plot".

Oh, and if running around the house like a "mad-cat" is any indication - Devlin is feeling really good this morning. All cat toys have been investigated and played with, rugs have been scattered and every inch of every room has become part of the Indianapolis 500. Wish I had that energy.

So what are you going to do today?

Finish up this last novella if it KILLS ME!

We won't even discuss house cleaning. Mine looks like someone dropped a bomb.

We hope it doesn't kill you sweetie - we kind of like you around.

What am I doing on the computer? Is this part of my cleaning? Not exactly - about to get at it. I have a bed to move around (again - Bebo and Susie agree it has to be done). By the time I figure out just where to put this bed, Bebo will have moved out and it will be time to return it to the bedroom. Sheesh!

I will be checking in from time to time - have to take breaks you know.

So glad to hear Devlin's feeling better.
DON'T PLOT!!!!

I will probabily play on the computer for awhile and then read. I have been away all week so my apartment won't need cleaning for a week(like it gets messy) I don't dare move my bed, god knows how many dust bunnies I'll find there.

I went to bed early, lights out and asleep by 11.30 pm (a miracle). DS up at 12.10 am. and 2.02 am. Then he got up at 6.55 am. I'm tired. I don't care how many hours I slept I still need more!!

Devlin has taken a turn in the last half hour. I don't think these antibiotics are doing any good. He's real listless and his breathing is labored. He's also growling and hissing at nothing and everything.

the romance chapter is meeting at Cheddars for a plotting session - we do this once a month!

Oh, I have full day planned. We are going to Costco in just a few then off to Nibblefest (a Girl Scout event). Tonight we have the family over for my stepson's birthday. I can't wait for Monday.

Watch the hockey game in half an hour, then probably try and get some writing done.

Hope Dev's doing better.

Poor Devlin. He's having such a tough time of it. Sigh.

I slept well last night. Am tired thinking about getting up early tomorrow for a dentist appointment, though.

Take care.

Oh dear. I hope Devlin is ok. It's Mother's Day here in the UK and I've had some new plants for the garden so DH and I have been messing about outdoors, surpervised by Charlie, when it hasn't been raining.

Sounds like some lovely plans. Devlin is resting (as he has been all day) with only one brief period when he got up to eat. I think the infection is winning.

Anyway,I'm done for the day (well, except two small tasks which must be done). My back is killing me.

Sorry to hear about Devlin, just when your hopes were up. We're praying he doesn't lose to the infection. Was the movie good? To watch it, I'd have to banish my family somewhere else, and that isn't happening with Son today. He's really clingy for some reason. Ah, I'd better treasure these moments now.

Bailey Stewart said...

Yes, treasure them :)

Yes, the movie was excellent. I've never read the book, nor have I seen the other (TV) version - now I don't want to, because I don't want to be disappointed.

I have to pick up Bebo's cat from boarding at the vet's in the morning. I'm going to talk to her about Devlin then. We'll see what's going on.

Computer shopping & organizing. So not fun.

Organizing/cleaning is what I'm doing - not fun. But computer shopping - if you're getting a new computer that's fun!

Just wanted to say how pleased I was that Devlin was doing well, and then I saw your update comment. So sorry he's taken a turn for the worse. What a rollercoaster time you're both having. Thinking of you.
