That's the journey of a writer, long and winding. Ups and downs, rejections, joys, acceptance, laughter, tears, community, and yet a sense of loneliness. The road is bumpy, often full of potholes, and yet it's one we gladly follow, for we are writers and writing is a part of our soul. Join me on my journey.

So There
Did you know that Monday was the unofficial Hugh Jackman day on some blogs? I didn't. So in the fairness of Jackman lovers everywhere ... (besides, you know it's Thursday and I'm always lost for stuff to blog about)
Don't forget, this is the last day for the Anne Frasier Pale Immortal giveaway.
AND just for fun: Jill did this on her blog and was really interesting to read. Tell me where in the world are you? And to add to that - if you were born somewhere other than where you're living, spill that too. Me first. I'm in Dallas, Texas, but I was born in Des Moines, Iowa. If you don't want to give the city, just tell us the state or country.

I like the pictures Bailey. I wonder who they're of? Hahaha! Just teasing.
As for where I am, I live in Duncan, South Carolina (tiny town). I was born in the same state a few hours in another direction. But, with the military moving us, we've lived in other stated across the country. Now that Dh is out of the military we're back "home". (unfortunately)
What a nice thing to see just before going to bed.
So I'm in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. We moved from Uruguay, South America when I was 7 and I was born in Paraguay, South America.
Sweet dreams, I'll know I'll being having them.
That man is so very easy on the eyes. I love the middle picture the best. Whew! Missouri!
Pretty pics! The first one I thought was Keith Urban for a minute.
I'm in St. Albert, Alberta just outside of Edmonton. Lived in Regina, Saskatchewan till I was six and dad got transferred here.
What a fun idea! It's great to see where everyone is. I'm in Yorkshire, England.
born in Fairbanks, Alasaka - live in Fort Worth
ahhhhhh Hugh - what more can be said?!?!?!?!
Mmmm...scrumptious pictures...
I was born in Truro, Nova Scotia. Grew up in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, and for the past 21 years have lived in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. I'd move, but when I get too far from the Atlantic ocean I get the shakes. Maybe I'll just hope across the pond and see what the Atlantic Ocean looks like from the other side.
I'm in Whites Crossing, PA. I was born in Carbondale, PA and lived there until I was 18.
Thanks for sharing the pictures Bailey!
Oh, I just posted this once, but think I must have been hit by lightning. My pc switched itself off.
Anyway, here's my post on Jill's blog:
I was born in Solihull, England, when it was a part of the county of Warwickshire. Within a few years the boundaries had been changed and my county changed to the West Midlands. Solihull’s near Birmingham, but not in Birmingham. When I married and left home, I lived in the Birmingham suburbs of Acocks Green and Tyseley before moving back to Olton, in Solihull again. Two years ago we moved to Great Houghton, a pit (coal mining) village in the borough of Barnsley, South Yorkshire.
I’ve travelled all over Europe for holidays (France, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Greece, Turkey, yada, yada), and to Canada once to see my brother, where we visited Ontario and Quebec.
*drools* Isn't every day Hugh Jackman day???
I was born in Osceola, MO, lived in Bryan/College Station TX and Lincoln NE while I went to college, then took a job for years in St. Paul MN. Now we're back in MO.
I live in Finland.
Born and still live in Pittsburgh, PA!
Love Hugh Jackman!
I was born in Chicago. We moved to Portland, OR a few years ago.
Love the pictures, Bailey! The one where he's wearing the white shirt is a new one to me. Yum!
Currently live in NE Arkansas, born in SE Missouri. But I've lived in Sacramento CA, Colorado Springs CO, St. Louis MO, Memphis TN, Tucson AZ, Austin TX, and Phoenix AZ in between one place and the other. :)
I'm in Winnipeg, Canada. Born in Shropshire, England :)
Well, you know where I live and where I was born. I've at least stepped on the the soil of all of the 50 U.S. states except for: Alaska, Idaho, Maine, Montana, Nevada, North Dakota, Utah and Wyoming. I have ventured onto foreign soil to Samoa, Canada, Argentina, Spain and Mexico. I love traveling and look forward to more of it in the future.
Now for other news, did you hear that Ann Richards died last night? :(
I just have to say, "YUMMM, Hugh Jackman." Thanks
Love, love, LOVE Hugh Jackman. I can't decide if I like him better with ong or short hair, though.
I'm in Nebraska and have been my whole life. Sigh...rather boring, I suppose, but I have moved 400 miles from where I was born.
I must say that my knowledge of celebrities is really lacking. I've seen him in one X-Men movie but other than that I know he was born in Australia and now lives in...? I know pretty well nothing about him except that he is hunky and has many "looks"...
Oh, right that's not what you wanted to know. Well, I was born in Luckenwalde, Germany--probably can't be found on an ordinary map; so I'll add that it's about 20 miles south of Berlin. And I'm now in London, ON, Canada which does figure on a half-decent map but it's about half-way between Detroit and Toronto.
Thanks fro the yummy pictures. :)
I'm in Alberta Canada!
I'm also born and still in Pittsburgh, PA. What an international bunch! I think that's why I was so attracted to my husband - born in Paris and traveled the world by the time he was 18 (air force brat) lol.
Oh love the pics of hugh!!!
Oh, I love Hugh. He is such a honey.
I live in Claremont, California (30 miles out from L.A.) and I was born in Henderson, Nevada. I've lived in Texas and New Mexico. But I consider myself a California Girl.
I'm in Norwich, Norfolk - around the middle of the big bump on the east coast of the UK above London. Most of my family live on the borders of London, though - we moved to Norfolk when I was three, and although I went to university at Leicester (Midlands), I love my home city so much I came back to it.
