That's the journey of a writer, long and winding. Ups and downs, rejections, joys, acceptance, laughter, tears, community, and yet a sense of loneliness. The road is bumpy, often full of potholes, and yet it's one we gladly follow, for we are writers and writing is a part of our soul. Join me on my journey.

Ahhhhhh, bliss
Picture yourself near a stream.
Birds are softly chirping in the crisp, cool mountain air.
Nothing can bother you here.
No one knows this secret place.
You are in total seclusion from that place called "the world."
The soothing sound of a gentle waterfall fills the air with a cascade of serenity.
The water is clear.
You can easily make out the face of the person whose head you're holding under the water.
There now ... feeling better?
Okay - the words aren't flowing tonight, so I'm going off to dreamland.

I'll go to that place. :)
Hi Eve! Thanks again for bringing the problem with my blog design to my attention. I scrapped it and redesigned the whole thing this evening. I just uploaded it--it's a 3-column. Well...at least it looks that way on my screen! LOL
Would you do me a favor and pop over to my blog whenever you get a chance and let me know if the new design displays correctly on your screen?
THANKS!!! :-D
Danica - I'm taking reservations.
Duchess - yes ma'am *salute*
I've seen that stress relief ditty before.
I'll stick to the Tire. More fun. And YOU certainly had fun there..biker boots and all..LOL!!!!!
Have a productive weekend in all ways.. TTFN
City Chickie - I did *gg*
I'll be packing most of the weekend, I don't know what will be so enjoyable about that - but I'll try.
I'm so glad I could be of some help. *gg*
can I go... please... PLEASE...
Sounds like a place to need to visit.
Line forms on the left.
Oooh, customers, have to go.
Sign me up! I have had a face in mind sense 4 this morning. :(
LOL, I'll go to that place too!
It's going to be a long line! I want to go there, too!
Awwww, what a beautiful place! I could live there. As for holding a head under water, yeah, I can do that too. I have a fun thing about packing for you: You find and relive memories through the objects you pack. How's that?
Just a quick note to whoever posted the Kinky thing. Hey,it was a joke - a play on the name Kinky. I try to stay away from politics and religion on this post. We're a bunch of romance/erotica readers/writers and so the name Kinky was unavoidable. I'm sorry if you found my remark offensive.
Kinky????
Long line over here on the left *g*
Is Kinky a real name? You had me wondering on that one. What kind of parents would do that to a kid lol
Susan - I'm sorry. Is it somebody I can "take out" for you? *gg*
Okay everyone, you know I don't play favorites - but it's The Shalvis. She gets first in line.
Carol - I'm thinking about getting one of those pole and rope things.
Brandy - When I'm packing I'll try to remember to remember the memories. *gg*
Toni - you know, the author who's last name I won't mention now because then I'll get googled.
Lis - See above comment. I don't think that's his real first name, but maybe.
What a shock to the system. All this peace and serenity and...I'm drowning someone?!? Or am I drowning myself?
And it was so picturesque. I could never come up with "a cascade of serenity".
Hope you had a good sleep and the juices and words are flowing again. But right, you had to go to work as well as pack. Never any rest for the weary.
yoffj - You often find fish jumping.
Just one person? I have two hands...
Ruby - whoever is bothering you, just imagine you're taking care of them.
Marty - as many as you would like sweetie. LOL
Ah, that place sounds wonderful indeed! We survived the yardsale. Thanks for all your advice!
I guess I missed the comment about Kinky? That's what happens when I miss a day (or two) of blogging. LOL
