s-CAT-urday

This is one of the cat tents that Brandy sent to my babies. Bubba loves to sit in it. Bailey (the cat people, not me - I wouldn't fit *gg*) likes to run across the room and dive in, causing the tent to slide across the floor.

Bailey is my water baby. This is mom's bathroom (I'm just itching to redecorate this flashback to the 60s/70s) and the faucet in the sink has a little leak. He loves to sit in there and get wet. Go figure. We were wondering why he would show up all wet. I mean, we're used to his paws and front legs being wet because he puts them in the water dish, but the water on his back was a mystery until we discovered this. He thinks he's in trouble, so as soon as I started snapping pictures he was out of there.

Mom spent Friday in bed again. Oh well, at least I had Thursday. I'm a bit sad because I know there will be less and less days like that. Have a great Scaturday folks and think about me in that dusty, sweaty bookstore today. At least it's only half a day.

Cool tents. My sister's cats would jump it the bathtub right after somebody took a shower or bath.

Cute pictures!

Hope your Saturday goes well.

Oh, I am so glad they like them!! As for kitties in baths. Oreo has a tendency to FALL IN my Son's bath half the time. And what is with cats and bathtubs. Soon as I'm out of the shower, in they go! Oh, and Layla, will run in when I shut the door and meow at me the entire time I'm in the shower. (Sorry to blather!)
At least you had a good day, right? Gives you something to look back on. Try not to get overheated at work, and hope you are able to get some rest.

Very cute pics. Hang in there with your mum. I know this is in NO WAY easy.

Funny. My kittles have a little tunnel. It's used as a 'safe house'--once inside, no one is supposed to attack you. ;-)

And ALL of my cats seem to like water. Go figure.

Hope you can enjoy part of your weekend, hon.

Christa - Brandy has to send them to me because our Wallyworld doesn't carry them. The cats love them. Bubba is the shower king, he has to lick the water off of my feet after a shower. And he HAS to be in the room before and after the shower. Kind of hard to get dressed with him winding around my feet.

Loreth - you? Procrastinating? Naw. We don't take baths anymore since mom's bench takes up the tub, but the cat I had years ago (Alexandria was her name) loved to sit on the side of the tub. I'll check out the link later, after work.

Lis - me too.

Brandy - I'll try to get pictures of the others in the tents. And I'll try to have a good day - mornings at the store are busy now that summer has set in - people trying to get out before it gets too hot.

Thanks Jordan.

Raine - same with the tents. I've thought of the tunnels, may still buy one.

I thought cats hated water! The tent is such a cute idea. Love your avatar's top.

Sandy - I had to come back and check what top I had on ...
Most cats do hate water, especially if it isn't their idea to be in it.

Off to work - four hours of dread.

Cats in Sinks! Amazing .

What is it with kid and cats liking to climb into small places?

I have mesh laundry baskets kinda of like what Bailey is in, and my kids would climb into them.
Still try to... so weird to see a leg sticking out cuz it won't fit.

Hope your Saturday is going well. My sidebar looks to be back to normal. .. well, as normal as it can be I guess.

Shirley - so far, so good. Only 2 1/2 hours left.

You're welcome Meretta.

Michele - the tighter the space the better. I had a 13lb orange cat that used to like to get in to shoe boxes - can we say overspillage? Sidebar back? Kewl - I'll check it when I get home.

One of the ferals I took in as a kitten had pneumonia and the vet said to take her into the bathroom with me when I took my shower - I can't take one without her because she thinks she is expected to be there lol.

Hope you have another good day with your mom soon.

Great pictures! Here I thought my cats were the only ones who loved playing in the water. Shadow loves to roll around on the wet towels also.

Such cute cats. Both of them look a little like the cat my sister and her family have. I still haven't quite got the name even after 6 or 7 years that they've had her. It's something like Beeges or BJ. The dog is definitely easier to remember "Wellington" or "Wellie". He does have attacks of arthritis.

It's my baby sister's 51st birthday today, the first time she hasn't had to run a lodge the whole day. She might have been working at the seniors' home but at least that's only 8 hours. Hope she has a more relaxing one than she usually did.

You're right, cats don't usually like water, do they? Is there a certain breed that does or how does one explain the anomaly?

Wonder how Suzanne McMinn is doing in T.O. today? (Toronto, ON about 120 mi. east of here.)

I thing I might have some shopping bag type of thing made of the type of wire(?) and net that the basket is made of. They're great for a lot of things.

Hope your Saturday wasn't too bad. I hope it's not too hot right now. And have a good Sunday.

Coincidentally we just picked up one of these for our kittie, Big Cat. (Don't ask, she came with the name and won't answer to anything else ;-)) She usually takes ages to warm up to a new bed, but is fascinated with it! And like you say, it moves around with her LOL Such a brilliant idea.
