Some Missing Links

Just a couple of places to go for a little fun:

This first one came from Ruby: Click here for a very amusing article.

Then Bebo sent me this great link that I had so much fun with. It didn't matter if you purposefully added the numbers wrong, it gave you what would have been the right number. Go, have fun. Very, very spooky - I mean goosebumpy.

Did I tell you I have an up-coming giveaway of Jill Shalvis books? I thought I had told you that I had an up-coming giveaway of Jill Shalvis books. Hmmmm, well, I have a giveaway coming up of new Jill Shalvis books - Aussie Rules and Bad Boys Southern Style. Details later.

Y'all keep behaving and I'll be happy. I am so wrung out with cleaning and this 108 heat index temp.

Yeah, I think you mentioned it because I said "count me in!"
didn't I???

Oooh, links to like. Yummy.

We have been having icky sticky weather too , its supposed to break tomorrow..by , oh, about 5 degrees. Geesh.

Try to keep cool whilst doing your chores. And hydrated.

Miss your visits! But then, I'm not alone in thinking that.

Have an awesome night and a better Tuesday!

Um, VERY spooky on that second link, lol!!!!

Links! Something new to see! Hope your week is treating you well. We are in HEAT HADES here, and it's only going to get worse. Miss you already!

At first I must have been doing something wrong. I got the same symbol twice though the answer wasn't even close. What I ended up doing was taking 2 numbers off: 10 and whatever the sum of the two was. I guess 6:00 is really time to go to bed. Anyway, it did work correctly the last two times. I thought maybe it didn't work because I can't stare fixedly at something for 10 seconds. I always have to keep blinking.

We've been having "feels like" at 108 too. All I have is a dehumidifier to alleviate things a little but of course it generates its own heat.

Hope you had a good night. And really, don't do more than you have to in this weather. Later today I'm going over to the library. I bet I'll freeze in there. (g) I think my desk is actually being ruinded by perspiration running off me. Good teak wood. I think I'll have to give it a protective polish.

I heard a report that the first months of this year(?) in Canada were an average of 3 C above normal. But at least the big heat wave didn't come until a week ago.

I think I missed a link. I'll have to go back and then to bed. Hope you and your mom both slept well and that the cats didn't wake you.

Have a good day.

Ooh, something else to distract me. That 'numbers' link is very, very spooky!
Hope you manage to keep cool.

I keep wanting to take a break too to get caught up on photos and things but it is sooo hard to let go!

Hope mom is well today....thanks for the links! Stay cool in your heat. It will be over 100 today too so I am hitting the pool with my little nephews.

That wouldn't be an up-coming giveaway of Jill Shalvis books, would it? Fancy that.

You're welcome Kelly.

Michele - did I? Hmmmmm. They're forcasting a cold front for this weekend - 99. I'm so going to throttle a meteorologist.

Jill - I knew you'd like it.

Thanks Brandy - miss you too. But I am actually getting stuff done. Imagine that.

Good luck with the heat Ruby. I hear this heat wave is getting everybody.

Joely - you just might have that chance.

Shirley - I knew you had problems finding things to distract you with.

Deana - it's veeerrryyyy hard to let go. Enjoy the pool (brat *gg*)

Diane - how did you ever guess that I was having an upcoming giveaway of Jill Shalvis books? You're brilliant.

Trouble with the internet in the early morning and after sundown. I think everybody who is home is avoiding it during the day - so there's a logjam. I keep getting bounced off.

I am not sure but did you say something about Jill Shalvis? Can't remember

LOL - Sorry - I am flippant lately - can't imagine why...

Meretta said...

LOL at the pick up lines.

Couldn't link to the numbers. Yet. I'll keep trying. :)

Hope the heat dissipates for you soon! And that a Molly Maid miraculously appears.

That 'numbers' link is freaky! Thanks for links. :)

Try to keep cool.

The pickup lines are fun. And the number game...how they do that?

Christa said...

I heard another pick up line. It goes "You'll look great on my pillow tomorrow" Those pick up lines are great.
That number one is just way spooky.

Dennie - I might have mentioned something about an upcoming giveaway of Jill Shalvis books, but I'm not sure. Flip away.

Meretta - Molly Maid? From your lips to Gods ears. And yes, keep trying the numbers link.

Susan - it gives me the chills, which are kind of welcoming right now.

Susie - I have no idea.

Christa - good one. I'm keeping that link because I like to go back and get freaked out every once in a while.

Not sure if any of you want to know how and or why the numbers links works, but as a math major right now I always have to figure out how that type of stuff works. So I figured out the witches trick and would love to share it!

Kristie

JILL SHALVIS books? Sounds great!
By the way we are in the heat wave too! Can't wait for it to break to turn off my ac.

Michele said...

yeah, Kristie, spill the beans. I did it twice with two diff. numbers and a correct symbol both times popped up.. it was weird!

And you can explain that?
My idol.

Links, how fun, will have to check them out!

And you know, my psychic advisor (his name's Sam btw *g*) seems to tell me if I keep coming back to this blog this week, what's that sam? Oh yes, there could be some Shalvis books given away? Exciting! He seems to think more will be revealed soon :oD

I'd send you hugs, but it's too hot, so I'll send you nice cold thoughts instead! :)

Remind me to be fully awake next time I post. I just got up from my nap.

Kristie - don't you dare! Spoil sport. *gg*

Michele - figure out another way she can become your idol, because I don't want to know. Sheesh.

Lis, my spirit advisor, Exent Ewek, says next week probably. *gg*

Tori - I'll take the hugs and cool thoughts.

Michelle-

It is no matter what two digit number you pick... when you add the numbers together and subtract that, you always are left with a number that has 9 as a factor. For example: 19 1+9=10 19-10=9
52 5+2=7 52-7=45
27 2+7=9 27-9=18
All of the numbers that have the factor of 9 in them were the same symbol, though they change. Check it out!

It sounds like everyone is roasting right now in the temps.:( Keep cool. Love Jill's books. :D

catslady said...

I don't get it Michele. I understand the factor of 9. But it doesn't know which one you end up with and therefore there are different symbols that come up?????

Anonymous said...

Every number that is a factor of 9 has the same symbol. Look at it.

Sorry, posted the other one first, didn't see your warning! Avoid my posts Bailey!
