That's the journey of a writer, long and winding. Ups and downs, rejections, joys, acceptance, laughter, tears, community, and yet a sense of loneliness. The road is bumpy, often full of potholes, and yet it's one we gladly follow, for we are writers and writing is a part of our soul. Join me on my journey.

Stressed
Everything has gone to my stomach and it's cramping bad - among other things. It's agony to sit here but I didn't want to disappear without something. I'll be back when I feel better. Thanks for all of the kind words and support.
I'm with Michele. Get some help, hon. There are organizations & various support groups that'll lend a hand. You'll be of no use to anyone if you wind up sick yourself. Also recommend meditation, if you can manage the time.
Hey, I survived the night, after hanging over the side of the bed and worshipping the plastic trash can. It wasn't all stress (I looked), but sinus drainage, which would explain those excruciating stomach cramps. I'm on ginger ale and graham crackers for the day, and will probably spend most of it in bed - not what I had planned for the day. Watch, this will be the day when mom will want to stay up. Not blogging for a while - maybe later, as soon as mom's breakfast it taken care of I'm back to bed. I'll answer personal emails later. See y'all later. And thanks!
The photos are so poignant. Take care, sweetie. I find peppermint tea is good for the tummy and tiger balm rubbed into your temples helps with sinus problems. (((Eve))) Lots of love and hope you are feeling better.
PS. Avoid the raspberry leaf tea. I drank a tonne at the end of my pregnancies and it tastes like crap... Unless it is just raspberry tea--which sounds kind of sweet. Softens the cervix. Might be something in it after all!!
Oh, Eve. I do hope you've been able to calm down a little and feel less stressed. But I know from experience that it's much, much easier to say than experience. My big stress factor is noise of any kind--it definitely seems to be one of yours, e.g., when you mention the kids next door. For me there is far too much noise pollution in the world and especially living on a main artery in the city has made it doubly so. I'd love to be able to put my arms around you so we could cry and laugh together through our tears. We'd sit together and drink Chamomile tea for stress too. I've never heard of there being any tea to relieve stress. It's something that I definitely need. My stress levels are constantly past bearing.
Hugs, loving thoughts and prayers for you and your mom.
I'm glad I'm not the only one. Taking care of family with Alzheimer's (my mom and grandmother both have later stages) just rips away at my digestive system too. Acuptunure has helped me a lot, although the acupunturist has noted to me that the digestive problems are clearly the result of stress....personally, I try to do something for myself every day - get a pedicure, a massage, workout, acupunture, hang out with a friend - anything to have a little time every day to take care of myself. I notice that when I don't, my stomach kicks up. The ginger tea works really well; when my stomach is really bad off, I'll get fresh ginger root, peel it, grate it, boil it for a couple of hours. Maybe I'll add a cinnamon stick too, if I've got one around. It works wonders. Take care of yourself.

Can you get a visiting nurse in there to give you an hours support or anything? Something?
You've got to take a break, Bailey - You have to stay healthy for you!
Stress is the pits.
Thinking of you and sending happier thoughts!....

{{{Hugs}}} I can see why you would have health problems if you ignore yourself. Will be thinking about you all day today, Bailey.
