*big sigh* I'm never going to get this study done. You've been awfully patient about seeing the after pictures though, thanks. I didn't work on mom's room either. No housecleaning, finished my blogging about 1:00. I didn't take a nap - haven't been sleeping well at night, so thought that might help. Wait, I kind of lied here, I did do two loads of laundry, changed mom's bedding, packed up newspapers for recycling, emptied the dishwasher and filled it up - that's why it took until 1:00 to finish my half a list blogging. But other than that - what have I been doing?
"Playing Spider Solitaire?" Shirley, the Queen of Procrastination, asks.
"Not today."
"Watching nubile young men on TV?" Michele wonders.
"Sounds good, but no."
"I know, I know." Brandy, waves her arms like Horschack.
"Hush sweetie, let them guess."
"Getting geared up for the upcoming football season?" Scott pipes in.
"I've got to do that, but no, not this time." *smiles mysteriously*
"Reading?" Toni, who has a book coming out in print in December, asks.
"That's for bedtime."
"Give it up wrench, or we're storming the castle." Raine, who's trying to rain down on my parade.
"Okay, okay. I wrote 1, 715 words. That's One Thousand, Seven hundred and fifteen words. That's 3,085 words this week. I thought you'd understand."
Posting early in case that stupid internet knocks me off around 8:00 like it does every night.

I'm Horshack? I can't be cute? Oh, well. At least I KNEW something!
Bless your heart, I feel for you. I really do. I hope this makes you stronger and when you are being interviewed as a best selling author with a blockbuster film out you'll say it was all worth it. It built character....and good for you and all your characters coming together, and the words of course!
My best to your mom always!
That's great, Eve. Good for you. I think you got a lot done, both writing and otherwise. WTG.
Yep, we're going to be sweltering here for the next few days again. Actual high today 82 but feels like 100. Probably not as bad as yours and the humidity was "only" 74%. It's certainly more than that in here.
All I've done today was sort of lie down and jump up again to go to the bathroom. Awful cramps and the same thing as Sunday. I've written a few e-mails but that's about it. Where did the day go?
Okay, what or who is Hors-hack or Hor-shack? Nosy, ain't I?
That's awesome! I'm totally jealous. And look at me, I even have a cape.
No, no Brandy - you were waving like Horshack.
Thank Deana - I loved the bestselling author part. *gg*
Ruby - Horshack (and I know I'm spelling that wrong) was a character on Welcome Back Kotter a TV show in the 70s that launched John Travolta's career. Horshack always raised his hand and yelled - "Ooooh, Ooooh, Mr. Kotter". Anyway, just a little nostalgia joke.
Marty - Authorwoman to the rescue.
LOL! I'm with the hottie guys!! LOLOL!!!!
**smooch** Bailey!
Big Wahoo!! on the word count!
Way to go! Now go do some more once you get some rest. The room will wait, but the muse is fickle.
I just figured you'd do the eye candy one. *gg*
That's the plan for tonight. I finished Bound last night (very good btw, I'm planning to review in the next couple of days) and will take a reading break tonight and try to write. Tomorrow it's Jill's Blaze (the title eludes me at the moment - sorry Jill).
Will probably be losing the internet at any moment, so goodnight folks.
Aghhh! I see. WAVING like Horshack. Wait, wait, wasn't he annoying doing that? Are you saying I'm annoying? *g* (Hey I gotta make you smile somehow!)
Congrats on the word count, that's awesome :o)
Another 74 words and I will have reached the 1k mark for the evening. And yes, I have internet access, but it's sporadic. At least it's not out entirely like the last few nights.
I luv you Brandy.
Loreth - You'll have to wait! *gg*
Thanks Lis.
Hey Loreth, you have your picture up! Looks great! (Diane's going to hate all of my screamers, but hey, it's my blog ...)
1,009 words tonight. That's a total of 4,094 words this week - I'm finally making progress.
And I am sooo dead - no nap. Off to bed now. Yes!!!!
Awwwww! Bailey. I wuv you too. It took me a loooooong time, but I have GREAT friends.
WENCH.
It's "Give it up, WENCH."
As many a wench has done. ;-)
Good on you for the writing!!
3,085 words this week is ace. Well done.
I'm so glad you got some writing done. That has to make you feel good. I hope you had a good night. I know if I nap I don't sleep well. Hugs
Camp is starting this weekend, right? I'm getting excited for some good news. One of the links you sent me seems to be all about the Eagles, and how they are going to rock and roll all over the NFC East. I hate the Eagles.
Brandy - so do I.
Raine - of course it is. I typed this very fast, I'm lucky I caught pocrastrination in the brief read through.
Diane - and I'm itching to continue.
Carol - normally the naps don't make a difference, and they really don't now, it's just with tugging mom up from the bed, etc. when I lay down at night I hurt so I can't sleep - I thought if I didn't take a nap I'd be extra tired and it wouldn't matter. Worked. But it's work night, so I have to sleep today because I'll be up late tonight.
Scott - I haven't been there, but they are both Dallas News sportswriters, so they were probably just reviewing the teams in the NFC East. I hate the Eagles too, as all good Cowboys fans should.
Hugs on all the stress, but a big whoop for so many words!!! That's fantastic!!
Big word count!! Wow!!! Diane hates me too (you know why!!!) LOL.
I am impressed. Lots done. And no reading huh? No photos huh? Just what sort of place you running round here???
I am having a writing day--theoretically. DD is here and recovering from another dose of sickness. :-/
Hey, you got some writing done. That is a WONDERFUL accomplishment in the midst of everything else going on in your life. :-)
Toni - I know, we drive Diane nuts!!!!!! What kind of a place? I don't know, I'll let you know when I figure it out. Sorry about the sick kid, I know the feeling.
Thanks Joely and Melissa!
I look at everyone else's progress and think I haven't done much, but then I have to remember everything else I'm dealing with, so I feel good.
I'm jealous of the word count. Must get cracking myself if I can just get this kitten off the keyboard. ;-)
It's rather like therapy. Or trying to overcome a phobia. Just stick in millions of exclamation marks and she'll soon get over it.
Just so everyone else knows, I hate all things exclamation with a passion. I even have a pathalogical hatred for them. And any other hating cliche you can think of.
:o)
It's still a great word count.
I enjoyed your post immensely! Love your sense of humor, very much like mine. *g*
Congrats on the word count. Before long I can say I knew you before you became a best selling author!
Yay, for the writing, Bailey! =D
For someone that hasn't done anything, that's a long list of things done.
Keep the words comin'...
No, Bailey, I totally missed the 70s shows. Might have caught the odd one in a summer rerun but I spent all of the 1970s in Europe, with a couple of visits home to Canada for weddings, etc. So most of the TV shows and other cultural things passed me by. I left Jan. 2, 1970 and returned Dec. 18, 1979.
Good job on the writing. That is quite an accomplishment. Huzzah!!!
Way to go on your word count, Bailey. With everything going on in your life, you sure do keep on ticking! Good for you! Keep on, keepin' on and I hope you get some regular sleep soon...
WHOOT on your word count, Bailey!! Excellent progress. Good for you!!
congrats on the word count. Every bit counts!
I have seen Horschak on other shows since Kotter and he still looks and sounds the same lol.
Oh, well done you. What a brilliant word count. Keep going! (And, erm, no Spider? Not a single game? Wow!)
